BCAPRA is a not-for-profit organization of volunteers. We welcome
businesses in the registry profession to join our group. Some of
the benefits of belonging to our association include: |

- representation
on government committees, and
- an opportunity to obtain quotes
on group benefit plans.

- To ensure the Association becomes
part of the consultative and decision making process in
government concerning Search & Registration activity in British
Columbia.
- To heighten and promote awareness of the value add
of the Registry Agent Profession
- To be recognized as a collective
point for communications between government agencies
and members
- To
participate in and take advantage of various group benefits
on a voluntary basis
- To promote the highest standards of
ethics (and proficiency) among members
- To advance the knowledge
of members by the dissemination of information

- To promote the interest and further
co-operation among individuals and corporations in British
Columbia engaged in the profession of registering, searching,
investigating
and reporting on public legal documents in the Province of
British Columbia.
- To advance knowledge of and awareness of
individuals engaged in the profession.
- To study all types
of problems of members relating to the profession and to aid
in the solution thereof and generally
to promote the highest standards of
operating efficiency among members engaged in the profession.
- To promote
the highest standards of ethics and proficiency among members
involved in the profession.
- To carry on liaison and to foster good
relations with relevant external organizations.
- To receive,
acquire and hold gifts, donations, legacies and devises and
to use same for the promotion or development
of any or all purposes
of the Association.
- And generally to do whatever will raise the
standards and aid in the extension and development of the registry
agent business.
